10 Day Ultimate Wildlife, Chimpanzee Cultural and Nature Encounter In Uganda

Overview

Welcome to Uganda safari that is going to take you through the Uganda’s ultimate wildlife, chimpanzee culture and nature encounter in Uganda as you will be able to visit 3 of Uganda’s ten national parks with the source of the Nile, and he city tour.

This trip will give you an opportunity to encounter a number of chimpanzees in kibale national which are human closest cousins,

You will also encounter a number of wildlife in queen Elizabeth national park and Lake Mburo national park as you do your morning game drives and these include lions, herds of elephants, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs and many others, also an afternoon boat cruise will be done at kazinga channel in queen Elizabeth national park that connect lake Edward and lake George, and you will be able to encounter individuals, like, hippos, crocodiles elephants and buffaloes as the come on the banks of the channel for drinking water, water birds, and others, the same as in lake mburo national park.

You will also encounter the rewarding and fascinating encounters from the source of the nile, the city tours for great memories.

Travel Plan

• 01

  Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park

  Pick up from Kampala or Entebbe airport  and drive to kibale national park with stop over en-route for lunch at selected restaurant in after lunch drive to the lodge for overnight.

  Drive through this beautiful part of Uganda in Toro Kingdom via the northern route which is shorter and quicker with two hundred and ninety kilometers tarmac road running from kampala to fort portal through the fantastic view of Tea plantations, amazing culture with welcoming people, the most engaging snake like roads and beautiful ones.

  Day 2 : Chimpanzee Tracking and Nature Walk

  After early morning Breakfast drive to Kibale national park on Tarmac road to kanyanchu Tourism center for chimpanzee tracking, the tracking starts from here where you will meet your ranger guides to take you through this ultimate experience, meet your closest relatives to human, there are also varieties of tropical tree species in the park and other primates such as L’Hoest monkey, Black and white colobus monkey, blue monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey etc with varieties of forest endemic Birds such as Green-breasted pitta, collared apalis, African pitta etc.

  After chimpanzee tracking drive to Rwetera safari park for lunch from where we you will then after drive to Bigodi swamp, for a nature and swamp wak. Here you will be able to see a number of birds, and the outstanding culture.

  Have your dinner and overnight at Engiri safari lodge.

  Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Evening Game Drive

  You will wake up in the morning with an African delicious breakfast, and  then after start your 2-3 hours drive to queen Elizabeth national park, where you will reach, check in from the hotel, and then relax a bit as you enjoy the rewarding, outstanding and engaging nature breath. You will then get in  the nature / jungle for a game drive to meet the wild residents (wild animals),

  Thereafter you will come back in the evening, after enjoying the great view of animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, leopards, and many others, come back to the hotel for dinner, relaxations, flashbacks,  and overnight as we wait for the next day’s activities.

  Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

  After early morning Breakfast drive to Kasenyi plains for morning game drive which gives you the best African classic safari experience which engages all your senses with such a beautiful scenery of Rwenzori ranges and crater lakes animals expected to be sighted includes; Buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Water bucks, Lions and baboons, Leopards and many others and varieties of Birds such as grey crown cranes, Southern Red bishop.

  Drive back to the lodge for warm Lunch, after lunch drive to mweya for the afternoon Boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for best of this un-forgettable and memorable experience while on the boat for 2-3 hours cruise to lake Edward and Kazing channel, where you will see local fishermen, this trip highlights are elephants which come down to the banks to drink and swim, several school of Hippopotamuses, Crocodiles basking at the banks and other animals like Buffaloes, water bucks with varieties of water birds such as, Great cormorant, pied kingfisher, African fish eagle etc.

  Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

  You will wake up in the morning with a morning breakfast, have the last moments with the south western Uganda’s thrilling nature and then after, you will start your drive as you exit the outstanding tropical rain forests heading to lake mburo national park, as you drive through the snake like roads, and the most beautiful and fascinating green landscapes as you will also have the beautiful and delicious lunch from a selected restaurant.

  You will reach Lake Mburo national park in the afternoon, check in from the hotel and thereafter, go in for either the evening game drive or nature walk. Thereafter, you will get to the hotel, and then relax, over night as you wait fo the next day.

  Day 6: Morning Game-Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

  You will wake up in the morning with a morning breakfast, as you get set for this amazing day where you will meet a number of fascinating wildlife.

  You are welcome to lake mburo national park, a Uganda’s smallest savanna national park, here you will get to the morning game drive, where you will be able to meet and get welcomed by these wild residents. Among the animals you will be able to see include: buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, warthogs birds and many others. Then head to the hotel for lunch.

  You will then head in for an afternoon boat cruise along Lake mburo, which is over 10km2, where you will experience the great view of the water animals including the hippos, crocodiles, otters, water birds and many others.

  Lake Mburo has got a very fascinating view with fresh air, that offers you the breathtaking and engaging moment, that engages your minds, and uplifts your soul. After the boat cruise, you will head back to the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

  Day 7: Drive to Jinja Source of the Nile

  You will be welcomed to a new day with a morning breakfast and transfer to Jinja for another experience, a drive that will take us about 6 hours. You will drive with stopovers for lunch, photography, and snacks.

  You will check in from the lodge, relax, and have your dinner as we wait for the next day

  Day 8: Zip-Lining and Boat Cruise

  You will wake up in the morning with a morning breakfast, and then head in for the zip lining, another fanful experience, that will take you about 5 hours.

  Thereafter, go in for the lunch at the lodge, and then proceed to the source of the river nile, for a fascinating and ultimate boat cruise. You will then head back to the lodge, for relaxation, and dinner as you wait for the next day.

  Day 9: Drive to Kampala for a City Tour

  You will wake up in the morning for a morning breakfast, and then drive to Kampala for the city tour. You will be expected to visit Kampala city for cultural tours, local markets, and many others.

  You will have your accommodation in Kampala with your dinner and relaxation as you wait for the next day.

  Day 10: Preparation for your flight.

  You will wake up in the morning, depending on your flight departure time, visit either more places in the city tour, and then have your lunch as you head to the airport for your flight.
